The base is plastic, it looks tough but everything that constitutes the base is plastic, you don’t have to apply much force because if it wouldn’t be logical to break. The product works and works very well, it has smd square leds and not conventional ones, I guess that’s good. The trigger button is not working or at least in my case is not working, and that is already proven by the application suggested by the manual and with third-party application. Still, with the third-party app and the one suggested by the manual, both can take photos by touching the photo button on the screen (as would normally be). I checked the frames per second of the video on the computer and if it’s real the ones you say you have, like the pixels, it’s real. If you amplify the image and it’s very cool. I bought it for cell electronics and if it works it’s good but that does, for something more professional I would recommend a binocular or trinocular type. Bring everything you see in the pictures.

Downloaded MScope app from play store and it recognised the microscope. Was not able to connect to my iPhone with the supplied adapters. Will purchase usb to FireWire adapter separately. Note these adapters are universal so can be used to connect other usb devices. On most tablets and phones since they do not have cd drives it’s not possible to use the included cd of software. First picture is from tablet screen of a smt resistor. Perfect for my needs when soldering. Second picture is of the head of a safety pin and third picture shows the set up.
